Youth is the Hope of our Country
The
National Children's Month is Celebrated in the Philippines to honor and promote
children's rights to a healthy environment, education, and health. We have all
experienced childhood as we have grown, and we all recognize the beauty and
wonder of being a child. Hence, why is it that so many individuals still
mistreat and manipulate youngsters and teenagers? Ignorance or the persistent
stigma associated with poor parental supervision among some people may be to
blame. There have been numerous examples of child abuse and mistreatment
reported up to this point, with death being the worst. It is time for Filipinos
to become truly aware about good parenting because many lovely young people are
being denied the opportunity to enjoy the wonders of childhood due to the abuse
they are subjected to from their parents. Therefore, as a result of The
Children's Month Celebration, which was held on November 14, 2022 with the help
of the Child Protection Unit, seminars and other discussions about reducing bullying
and ensuring the safety of children in schools were held. We need to start
raising awareness of these issues since we are the only ones who can bring
about change. Every child in the world is important, and we should never forget
that. Join forces and keep in mind that "The best way to make children
good is to make them happy."
