 Dear Mrs. Vera Cruz

One of the students that has serious doubts about their abilities is me. I've never really believed in my abilities or in myself. I didn't really anticipate how challenging junior high school would be when I started. When I first met you, ma'am, I was very frightened, I told myself “allahh, terror teacher.” When we came to know you even better, ma'am, our perspective of you altered. You were interested in our level of education. You helped us laugh and put our problems behind us.

I much appreciate your trust, ma'am. I finally found the will and power to overcome much more, and I appreciate you having me.
