121st FOUNDATION DAY

Every year, Ilocos Sur National Highschool (ISNHS) celebrates Highschool Day, which is a much-anticipated occasion. A marching band, hip-hop demonstration, dance performances, and other events are all part of the day-long celebration. The "Galaw Pilipinas" dance, which is performed by students in grades 7 through 10, is one of the event's highlights. The dance celebrates Philippine culture and heritage and demonstrates the variety and depth of the nation's customs.

The celebration also features a festival dance performance by grade 9 students, set to the Kannawidan theme music, in addition to the "Galaw Pilipinas" dance. The dance captures the essence of the Kannawidan Festival, which honors Ilocos Sur's rich cultural legacy. The performances of the pupils demonstrate their abilities, ingenuity, and dedication to protecting and promoting their cultural heritage.

The winner, first runner-up, and second runner-up all participate in a hip-hop exhibition that follows the festival as part of the celebration. The contest serves as a showcase for the students' abilities and enthusiasm for contemporary dance performances. In addition to giving pupils a chance to show off their talents and ingenuity, the occasion also helps students, instructors, and parents feel a sense of pride in one another. The school's dedication to encouraging cultural awareness, creativity, and excellence among its students is reflected in the celebration of Highschool Day at ISNHS.
